The Trans Resort Bali – A Luxury Oasis

INDONESIA, LUXURY HOTELS

After traveling so long to get to Bali, staying at the luxurious Trans Resort Bali was the perfect way to recover and to begin the real vacation! The resort is only Ā 10 kilometers from Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, but also right in the middle of the lively and stylish area in Seminyak. This five star luxury hotel brand is known for their incredible Indonesian hospitality: it really sets the bar high for world-class service. In fact, theĀ Trans Resort Bali was awarded the Signum Virtutis Seal of Excellence 2018, the highest and most exclusive accolade from Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards.

While checking in at the spacious lobby, I admired the contemporary style with Balinese design touches and glamor throughout. We learned that the resort features 184 exceptionally appointed guest rooms and suites with jacuzzis, along with 16 palatial villas with private pools.

AccommodationsĀ

This made me very excited to finally see our One Bedroom Villa, and it certainly did not disappoint! In fact, these are the biggest one-bedroom villas in Seminyak, so youā€™re truly enjoying the height of privilege here at the Trans Resort Bali. The absolute best part of our villa was the private pool and spacious outdoor seating area with a day bed. What more could you possibly want from a luxury vacation?

Each of the rooms here are complemented with luxurious amenities such as exclusively designed bedding with 100% goose-down pillow and customized linen made of Egyptian cotton. Definitely one of the most comfortable beds Iā€™ve ever slept in!

The bathroom was very spacious with double vanities on either size of the soaking tub. One of the vanities even had a seat which made it easy for me to apply my makeup. The shower was ample size with a rain shower.

I found the facilities at the Trans Resort to be very inviting. They have an outdoor sandy pool, creating a fun beach-theme experience. This area can be really enjoyable for both children and adults as thereā€™s also a lap pool and kids pool with a slide and jacuzzi. Fun fact, the white sand is actually imported from Australia! In regards to amenities, towels, showers, and slippers are provided along with luxurious poolside loungers that are easy to spend all afternoon in.

The Trans Resort Bali is located in Seminyak boasts great restaurants, designer boutiques, and a beautiful pool with a beach in the courtyard. It also has a great location with all sort of shopping and sites within easy walking distance. Ā Plus there’s a free shuttle that can drop guests at the Seminyak Beach, restaurants, shopping, and more. Ā We started by having it drop us near a local Balinese Temple: the Petitenget Temple.

The Petitenget Temple, while right next to a popular beach, had no other tourist attention other than me and my husband. Ā The colorful doorways were eye catching and rather than just look, we decided to visit and participate in their ceremony. We paid a small fee and were dressed in sarongs around our legs and a temple scarf around our waist. The temples are incredibly beautiful and we certainly respected and admired the space. The priest and the people were warm and welcoming, they helped us find spots, showed us what to do, and helped with each of the steps. Ā We were seated in the back section, me with the other women, my husband with the men. They offered me orchids for the blessings and put flowers in my hair like they had. The service lasted about half an hour and consisted primarily of chanting mostly by the leaders, some echoed by all the participants. Ā Part of the blessing is wetting your hands in holy water, taking rice, and using the water for it to stick on your forehead and chest. This was a special experience that we will treasure for a long time.

The Trans Resort Bali Spa

After a long day of exploring, I always like to head to the Spa and Trans Resort Bali offers an incredible one. Their treatment are personalized and also based on divine Indonesian rituals with a core concept of sophisticated Balinese healing therapy that has developed over centuries. With tranquil surroundings, you can easily escape in this welcoming sanctuary in order to restore both your body and mind.

All of their rooms, whether it be single or couple, comes with a private shower and most come with a jacuzzi as well. The Spa uses all-natural products called Essential Bali, an award-winning natural and organic spa product made in Bali.

Our experience at The Spa was fabulous, we had their 60-minute ā€œBalinese Massageā€ which was so relaxing yet therapeutic.Ā Our treatment began with a ritual foot bath where our feet were cleansed in warm water with sea salt crystal. Sea salt scrub was also applied to exfoliate our skin, ending with a gentle massage on our legs.Ā

Our treatments were very personalized, and our therapist worked harder on areas we wanted to focus on which we requested prior to the treatment. After our 60-minute treatment, we felt refreshed and ready to face the rest of the day.

Better yet, their gym overlooks the drop of their 18 meter waterfall. This is actually the largest vertical garden in Bali. The water features are believed by the Balinese to give peace and relaxation for your soul. Their water garden provides a wonderful backdrop for anything from romantic dinners to Yoga and Zumba classes!

Dining at The Trans Bali Resort

With four dining options, thereā€™s no shortage of culinary choices at the Trans Resort. At The Restaurant, we enjoyed their impressive breakfast buffet every morning. They aim to satisfy all palettes here with around-the-world dishes including both Indonesian and Western-style breakfast food. You can enjoy all-day dining options as well, with healthy menus and specially made kids dishes. There is truly something for everyone who is looking for casual dining.

Complimentary access to The Club Lounge is available for guests who stay at The Premier Club, Celebrity Suites and Villas. The Club Lounge offers an elegant & relaxing atmosphere which commands the whole ground of the hotel entrance. While serving afternoon tea, delectable bites and cocktails, the handsome glass-enclosed area makes it genuinely elegant and relaxing. The Club Lounge is a luxurious space that has a few intimate lounge settings and a central table setting with cakes and snacks.

Before your check out, I highly recommend visiting the 18th Rooftop Bar! This open air rooftop bar is the place to be in Seminyak for sunset views. Both the design and menu is stylish, offering globetrotters delicious tapas and signature cocktails.

Now this is luxury in Bali and I have jotted down this place so I hope to stay here on my first visit to the area (which I am hoping will be early next year). I love a place to relax, a nice clean pool to dip into after a days exploring and the beds look comfortable as well. The rooms looks so modern as well and white…I love this when it comes to finding a place to stay.

Wow Carmen, this place really redefines a luxury stay! That one bedroom villa is the epitome of a dream getaway, and while we embrace many types of stays, this is one we would indulge in whole heartedly. Bali for us is also an extremely long journey, but one we hope to make in the near future as a parents getaway, and this would absolutely make our wish list while there.

From what you have described it seems like the Trans Resort Bali is a great place to stay in, it sounds to me that they are truly luxurious because Egyptian cotton is one of the finest and most luxurious material to use for bed sheets, so they truly seem to be a high-quality hotel that cares about satisfying its guests.
