Youāll find the elegant Waterstone Resort & Marina overlooking the peaceful waters of Lake Boca in Boca Raton, Florida. This property is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton which means youāre staying in a unique hotel with its own character that reflects the best of its surroundings. The Waterstone Resort is no exception!
Style and convenience are perfectly combined here with custom-made furnishings from exclusive local artwork, as well as modern amenities inside each room. Each guest who stays here will be treated to a private water-facing balcony with beautiful views of the water. If youāre staying for a leisurely retreat, you will be happy to discover the swimming pool and gym which overlook the water as well.
The Mizner Park Center is nearby if youāre looking to do some shopping, or take a very short walk to the beach where you can enjoy a number of water sportport activities that you can arrange through Waterstone Resort.
However, you donāt have to stray very far to enjoy some evening entertainment! Onsite, the Waterstone Rum Bar & Grill and Boca Landing is offering fantastic musical entertainment every weekend during the spring and summer seasons. On Friday evenings, they host Jazz vocalists from 7-10 PM at Boca Landing. Every Saturday evening, you can enjoy a great line-up of acoustic vocalists from 6-10 PM at Waterstone Rum Bar & Grill. And on Sunday afternoons, they have an awesome local Calypso Steel Drummer who plays at the Rum Bar from 1-5 PM.
Last month, I was very lucky to get a sneak preview of this fantastic entertainment while enjoying their delicious cuisine. Chef Matthew Mixon unveiled new menus at both of the properties restaurants, and a new āElixirsā cocktail menu.Ā Ā We enjoyed happy hour drinks by the water and then moved inside for a tapas-style dinner that gave us a great overview of Waterstone Rum Bar & Grillās new menu. I sampled their mouthwatering Mango Mustard Glazed Salmon with cilantro infused rice and papaya salsa. Iād also highly recommend their Roasted Chicken Arepa and Butcherās Steak Sandwich. We also got to try Arepas which are a traditional Mexican style street food in the form of sweet corn cakes with savory toppings. This was something I had never tried before and really enjoyed.
We made sure to leave a little room and try their Chocolate Layer Cake toppedĀ with a walnut cookie and vanilla ice cream. Ā It was delicious!
Whether youāre sleeping, dining, or enjoying some live music at the Waterstone Resort & Marina, youāll be sure to walk away feeling relaxed, pampered, and already planning your next return!
Disclosure: We were invited to try out the new Waterstone Rum Bar & Grill menu items. However, all opinions are my own.

April 15, 2017 at 9:11 amThe property looks fantastic and your room really nice. I haven’t stayed at a Curio Hotel by Hilton. Good to know when you’d like a bit more luxury. You definitely don’t often see arepas as a food offering. They’re delicious and sometimes I can buy them at an NYC street fair. Not sure when or where I’m using my Hilton points next, but if in Boca, I’d definitely check the Waterstone out.

April 15, 2017 at 4:58 pmWhat a beautiful property. I love that the larger chains like Hilton and Marriott and offering more boutique brands that really fit into their environment. I’m not familiar with the Curio Collection, but I will definitely check it out next time I’m booking a trip.

April 16, 2017 at 8:32 amLiving in Florida, I have day tripped to Boca Raton several times but you have definitely made me want to come for the weekend and stay at this gorgeous resort! I love that although this is technically a Hilton property, it is its own unique hotel. Although your pictures of the property are great, that chocolate cake really stood out š
