Origami Unicorn TUO Review: The Travel Undergarment Organizer

LIFESTYLE, TRAVEL

When it comes to packing, my husband would say I’m off the charts with prepping and organization.  I pack my suitcase neatly, making it easy for me to find all of my articles of clothing. I struggle most with my undergarments.  Now that I have the Origami Unicorn TUO, packing and staying organized will be so much easier.

TUO stands for Travel Undergarment Organizer.  The TUO is made of a water resistant nylon fabric and features three see-through mesh zippered compartments to pack and organize undergarments, accessories, and small clothing items together. It comes with several pockets and pouches to fit seven days worth of undergarments.  It’s perfect for women to store underwear, bras, socks, and bathing suits.  For men you can store: socks, boxers, briefs, ties, belts, and swimsuits.

Statistically speaking, only about half of travelers unpack their luggage at a hotel while on vacation or a business trip.  It can be stressful at times when you’re looking for an undergarment and can’t find it amongst all the other clutter in your suitcase.  Well not anymore!

The Origami Unicorn has separate compartments for everything. Inside the zippered compartments, there are six internal elastic pockets for smaller items. Plus three see-through mesh zipper pockets so you can easily see your items upon first glance. Folded up, it measures 13.5″ W / 9.5″ L. When you’re all done packing, just fold the bag back up and it easily fits into your suitcase or carryon bag. No more searching for underwear or socks in your suitcase. Everything is all in one place in your Origami Unicorn TUO bag. There’s even a separate two-pocket laundry bag to put your dirty clothes in without the worry of them getting mixed up with your clean clothes, or ending up in a pile on the hotel floor.  Just pop your used items in the small bag for easy sorting at the other end.

Not to mention, it’s discreet. You can place it into a carry-on bag and keep your unmentionables private, in one neat foldable bag.  You won’t have to fuss with plastic bags or ziplocks any longer.

A Portable Drawer

Once you arrive at the hotel, unfold the Origami Unicorn and hang it from anywhere. Using the detachable snaps at the top, you can hang it from the closet or towel bar in the bathroom. Everything is right where you need it in one convenient place, making it all the more practical.

It isn’t cheap that’s for sure, but well worth the money if you ask me. It fits all my undergarments and accessories perfectly in my suitcase.

Seems to be a cool organizer. Not sure it will fit with our backpack though!

It depends how big of a backpack you take with you. It’s not really big, but not small either.

One of my favorite pieces of luggage is my toiletry bag that I can hang up in the bathroom, so I can already tell I’d love this bag. I can see how having a couple of these would be nice to organize the family’s clothes.

That is so cute! I love the pattern that you picked. I’m one of those that doesn’t unpack usually, so something like this would be really helpful. I love that you can hang it up!

I love that it has the ability to hang on things because it makes it more portable and convenient when you go to use it!

I’ve got one of these, the blue and white one, and it’s a real godsend. I put a wet swimming costume into it on my last trip, it was so handy

I wouldn’t have thought to put a wet bathing suit in it! Great idea!

It really makes it much easier to pack and store all my undergarments in one place, so I don’t have to dig around in my suitcase looking for things.

I am totally unlike you when it comes to packing in that I am completely disorganised and last minute so I really think having something like this could help with my pre-trip madness!! This looks so handy and would stop me fishing around looking for things in a big pile in the middle of the case like I so often end up doing!

It comes in very handy when you have everything organized in one place. On my last trip I left it in my bathroom hanging from the towel rack. Also, the laundry bag that comes with it is very useful. I like that it has two compartments inside, so you can separate your dirty clothes.
