You can always count on Corinthia Hotels for a memorable, five-star stay and the Corinthia Lisbon is no exception! Located in the center of Portugal’s capital city, the Corinthia Lisbon is known for their luxurious rooms, a world-renowned spa, attentive service, delicious food, and so much more. This was not my first time staying at the Corinthia Lisbon, you can read about my first visit here. This time around, I had the pleasure of staying in one of their new Maritime Suites.

I always recommend booking direct with Corinthia as they offer several incentives for doing so. First, you can enjoy an early check-in and/or late-checkout when available, as well as 10% off spa treatments. Also, they will welcome you with delicious treats in your room upon arrival which is always a nice touch. Speaking of nice touches, everyone at the Corinthia Lisbon goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is a wonderful one. Not only are their rooms and restaurants five-star, but so is their service. I always enjoy the incredible amount of fresh flowers in the lobby which is a signature touch you can find in all Corinthia Hotels around the world.

Staying in a Maritime Suite gives you access to the Sky Lounge where a complimentary breakfast, drinks, and afternoon canapés are served every day. While the Sky Lounge is currently closed (re-opening soon), we still enjoyed a complimentary breakfast in their Sete Colinas restaurant accompanied by a piano player which was a great way to start every morning. The buffet options are plentiful and absolutely fantastic – I was impressed with their offering of fresh honeycomb! And if the weather is nice, you can enjoy breakfast alfresco on their terrace.

However, one of my favorite aspects of booking the Maritime Suite is having an in-suite check-in experience where you can go straight to your room and get a proper tour of your spacious suite. And trust me, there is a lot to see in a Maritime Suite so it’s helpful to have a guided tour before settling in. The luxury room features are practically endless here.

As a quick overview, a Maritime Suite at the Corinthia Lisbon includes two bathrooms, an office, a living and dining room space, an elegant bedroom with a plush king bed and walk-in closet, and a soaking tub with fabulous views over the city! What more could you possibly want from a luxury hotel suite? The first thing I noticed upon entering was the light and airy blue interiors that wash over you and create a sense of tranquility and comfort. The furniture in every room is tasteful, luxurious, and also very cozy.

From the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, you can enjoy beautiful views featuring the monumental Águas Livres Aqueduct. I especially loved viewing this from the soaking tub in the bathroom. The marble bathroom also has a separate rain shower, luxurious ESPA bathroom products, double sinks, and plenty of counter and storage space. Plus, there is a second bathroom off of the living/dining room area which is perfect for any guests you might have visiting since there is plenty of space to entertain and host a meal.

While I loved having so much space in the living/dining room area, I especially appreciated the separate office where I could escape to get some work done if I wanted to. That way if my family is watching TV or relaxing in the living room, we do not interrupt each other. The bedroom is also spacious with a lovely king-sized bed, but my favorite two features are the vanity in-front of the windows which provide perfect lighting for doing your makeup and the walk-in closet! That is such a fabulously luxurious feature for a hotel suite that I do not see often. The Corinthia Lisbon really takes luxury to the next level, offering high-value accommodation.

As far as enjoying lunch, dinner, or drinks, you do not have to venture too far when staying at the Corinthia Lisbon. While Portugal’s capital city features amazing local and fine dining restaurants (which the Corinthia offers great suggestions and will help you with reservations), I also recommend enjoying their Erva Restaurant. The vertical gardens and plants that line the walls and corners of Erva also reflect the their menu which features an eclectic mix of locally sourced cuisine. I’d recommend their fresh cod tempura starter, slow cooked ribs, and any of their handcrafts cocktails.

Speaking of cocktails, you must visit their Soul Garden for excellent mixology and an intimate atmosphere. This is an outdoor haven with plenty of greenery, fire pits, lovely music, and more. While they also serve food in the form of small sharing plates, I’d recommend coming here before or after dinner at Erva.

While I did not get the opportunity to visit their spa on this trip (you can read about my previous experience here), I highly recommend booking a treatment whether you’re a hotel guest or not. This is one of the best spas in Portugal, and one of my favorite spas in the entire world. Other than the calming treatment rooms, there are so many spaces to unwind and recharge like in the indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sensory showers, sauna, steam room and more. Their fitness center is also open 24 hours a day and also includes water therapy circuit which is complimentary for guests staying in the Maritime Suite and other high level rooms as well. Lastly, there is a hair spa as well as a children’s spa so it’s easy to spend all day at The Spa.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Corinthia Lisbon should be on any luxury traveler’s bucket list! Remember to book direct with Corinthia Hotels to enjoy extra benefits and I also recommend browsing their current offers page before you reserve your stay.*WATCH* my Youtube video below to see more of the Corinthia Lisbon, especially the Maritime Suite, and some beautiful Lisbon city highlights.

Disclamer:  I was a guest of the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon, but all opinions here are my own.

I never leave without a couple of mobile chargers and REALLY good compression socks! Those socks save me discomfort in my legs on long flights!
