February 5, 2016 at 8:26 pmAs the owner of Blaycation, your Bucket List Vacation, we put together some pretty cool bucket list worthy experiences that are highly informative, experiential, luxury and authentic. When I met, the Earl, John Crichton in his castle the very first time I new we had something very special here. He’s genuine, so sweet and such a lovely hospitable man. This program is truly a unique experience that I have personally enjoyed and now thanks to the generous 7th Earl of Erne a very select small group of guests can now too. If anyone would like any additional information please let me know?

February 6, 2016 at 11:35 amThis sounds amazing. I feel like I would be terribly intrusive with questions about the current state of the aristocracy and future of the castle, but I suppose that the gracious hosts would be accustomed to that… and I would probably be using my GOOD manners.

September 7, 2017 at 5:33 pmI stayed at Crom Castle with a group of friends this Summer and it was sensational. Not only the castle, but the navigable lakes which surround the estate. I would recommend taking a boat trip to Inis Rath, which is an island and mansion owned by the Hare Krishna organisation. We also travelled by boat to Belle Isle, which is an estate owned by Lord Erne’s cousin, the Duke of Abercorn. Belle Isle was enchanting, but I would have to say that Crom is truly exceptional, and a great credit to Lord Erne and his late father.
