I’ve visited Venice several times with my husband and kids. We love strolling around the little side streets and finding new restaurants and shops to explore. Have a great time in Venice!

Drool… I love everything on this list, but Santorini is the spot I’ve been most aching to go. Every photo if it is out of this world.

We loved Santorini! We spend three days in Oia, and it was very relaxing and of course very romantic. The sunsets at night are out of this world.

Somehow none of these places occurred to me as a luxury destination, I guess that’s because they are rather close to me and I’ve been to them all. Oh no wait, not to Santorini but I was close. Loved them all, although I’d definitely avoid Venice in the summer 🙂

I can see that if you live near by. It’s the same for us here. People come from all over the world to spend a few days in Miami or Fort Lauderdale. I’ve never been to Venice in the summer, only in the fall or springtime.

In my mind nothing beats Paris – I keep meaning to go back because I remember finding the roof restaurant at the top of Pretempts and want to go back and take some pictures. Very romantic!

Without a doubt, Paris ranks first in the list of the most romantic cities thanks to places like the Pretempts with such wonderful views.

Santorini must be gorgeous, I’ve always wanted to go there! (Barcelona is great, although not my favourite place in Europe) Rome is another one on my list – can’t wait to explore the city in October! 🙂

All are incredible places, maybe your wife will want to go to all of them for a wedding anniversary, so you’ll really be in trouble.

Spain and Italy are lovely countries; Both Barcelona and Venice are cities that reflect very well the spirit of these countries.
