The Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum in downtown Fort Lauderdale, is one of the least expected experiences. This hidden gem is the largest collection of Packard Motor Cars and memorabilia from the 1900’s to the 1950’s.
The museum which is an 18,000 square foot building is a reproduction of an old Packard showroom from the 1920’s. They have on display a total of 22 Packard Motor Cars in full working condition. The museum is also stocked with thousands of memorabilia, including a Delivery Van, Hearse, Fire Truck and Paddy Wagon and a gallery dedicated to the late President Franklin D Roosevelt.
The museum is also available to rent for special events or fundraisers. It’s a great venue to host a roaring 20’s party theme. We did and the guests loved it!!
The Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum is situated near downtown Fort Lauderdale. If you are interested in cars and history, spend a few hours out of your day and come visit this museum in Fort Lauderdale.

August 2, 2014 at 6:41 amI love visiting car museums. Classic cars always have such character and detail that today’s cars will never have.

August 4, 2014 at 6:45 amThis looks like such an interesting museum to wander around. What a great idea to host a roaring 20′s party theme. Despite not being a car fanatic, I actually enjoyed visiting car museums. I love this era so this would have been wonderful visit.

August 6, 2014 at 2:48 pmHi Mary. I’m not a big car buff either. It’s a fun place to wander around and see all the cars which are in prime condition, while hearing twenties music being played in the background.

April 19, 2017 at 5:41 pmI’m in love with the 1909 Packard Model, such a pretty color. I’ve been looking at different collectors, my husband is very interested in purchasing a vintage car. We’ll have to find a place we’d be able to store the car, it’d be fun to say we own a vintage car.
