The Most Instagrammable Photo Spots in Fort Lauderdale

ARTS, FLORIDA, FORT LAUDERDALE, LIFESTYLE, LUXURY TRAVEL DESTINATIONS, TRAVEL, UNITED STATES

I am lucky to call the beautiful city of Fort Lauderdale home. With its beautiful beaches, vibrant art scene, varied dining and shopping options, there’s just an endless amount of things to see and enjoy! And if you’re a visual person like me who enjoys finding the best places to capture fun memories to share on Instagram, keep reading for my favorite Instagrammable photo spots in Fort Lauderdale…

*NEW* Visit Lauderdale Destination Mural

I believe murals really bring art to life and the new Visit Lauderdale Destination Mural at the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel is no exception! Professional airbrush artist Avi Ram collaborated with Visit Lauderdale on this vibrant mural for visitors to enjoy.

We welcomes travelers with open hearts and minds to experience this cosmopolitan community throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale with our fitting motto: Everyone Under The Sun! You can find this beautiful new addition to our city and art scene underneath the porte cochere at the W Hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.

White Wave Wall

When I think of the quintessential Fort Lauderdale shot, the White Wave Wall along A1A at Fort Lauderdale Beach immediately comes to mind! Here you’ll find miles of pristine golden sand beaches with inviting turquoise blue waters. The iconic wave wall is the perfect place to pose on the beach with a stunningly beautiful backdrop of the ocean. You often find visitors sitting on the wall for their perfect shot, and I recommend coming in the morning if you want plenty of space to yourself!

Intracoastal Waterway

Did you know that one of Fort Lauderdale’s nicknames is the Venice of America? The Intracoastal Waterway is a 3,000 mile island water channel that runs along the Eastern U.S., aligning perfectly with our coastal city of Fort Lauderdale! So you’ll find an extensive canal system, natural inlets, saltwater rivers and more. The best way to enjoy these canals is by hopping on a water taxi or boat tour. One of the most picturesque sections is called Millionaire’s Row and consists of opulent waterfront mansions.

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens

For those who enjoy history and architecture, I would recommend visiting Bonnet House Museum & Gardens. Dating back to 1920, this verdant, stories, plantation home features beautiful gardens and an arty interior. It is named after the Bonnet Lily and was the home and studio of Chicago-born artist Frederic Clay Bartlett. Now the public can enjoy this historic property with a guided or self-guided tour. There are plenty of gorgeous photo spots throughout to capture the perfect snapshot!

Las Olas Boulevard

Not only is Las Olas Boulevard the perfect place to stroll and people watch in Fort Lauderdale, it is also one of the most picturesque places to enjoy a bit of shopping. You’ll find a wonderful selection of local boutiques in this tree-lined neighborhood. While you are certainly in the middle of a bustling city, the charm of Las Olas feels as if you’re in a small town.

Pelican Grand Beach Resort

Pelican Grand Beast Resort is a beachfront paradise, nestled directly in front of the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking views. And whether you’re an overnight guest here (read my review) or dining at Ocean2000, there is one spot you must not skip. Head to their sweeping, oceanside veranda and sit in one of the classic blue and white rocking chairs. It is a wonderful photo opportunity and also the perfect place to just relax for a beat.
