The Four Seasons Hotel Prague is ideally situatedΒ along the picturesque Vltava River and Old Town. It’s just a block away from the Charles Bridge, where ancient history and culture meet; a convenient location where you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
TheΒ Four Season Hotel PragueΒ is composed of three unique buildings dating from the Neo-Renaissance, Neo-Classical and Baroque periods, reflecting the character and elegance of this historic location.
First Impression
The beauty and presentation of the fresh flowers in the lobby caught my attention the minute I walked into the lobby area of the Four Seasons Hotel Prague.
AccommodationsΒ
The 157 rooms (including 19 suites) vary in size and style but all feature high-quality textiles and furnishings, generously sized marble bathrooms, TVs and working desks as standard.
We stayed in aΒ Renaissance Room, which reflects the architectural style of the Renaissance Building. It was well sized for two people,Β with tasteful decor and a very comfortable King size bed. Β ItΒ features high ceilings, and several large windows overlooking the surrounding buildings and streets.
The marble bathroom was spacious with twin wash basins, Β a walk-in shower, and aΒ deep bathtub separate from the shower. Β I unfortunately forgot to bring a hair iron, but after phoning housekeeping one was immediately brought up to my room.
Some of the little details like fresh bottles of water daily, a selection of books to read, universal adapters to put in my computer, fresh food (as well as free wifi) really made our stay enjoyable. Β The housekeeping staff must have been ghosts, because our room (and the entire hotel) was invariably spotless yet we never were disrupted by anyone cleaning or saw anyone in the hallway.
Dining Options
CottoCrudo whichΒ means βcooked and rawβ is an ItalianΒ restaurant on the property andΒ considered one of the best eateries in Prague. Italian dishes can be enjoyed raw at the Crudo Bar or cooked from the main menu. Β The restaurant offers varousΒ seating options and anΒ adjacent bar as well as cosy banquettes, it is stylish enough to draw in people who are simply passing by.
CottoCrudo also has an outdoor patio area which is wonderful for lunch or just sitting and relaxing with a nice cocktail in the evening.
The buffet breakfast at CottoCrudo had a huge selectionΒ and seemed more like a feast/gala morning affair rather than a mere breakfast. Β TheyΒ offered so many different items that even the pickiest of eaters would be satisfied here, plus you could order off the menu to accompany the buffet.
In the summer months, you can enjoy a romantic dinner setting outdoors in The Terrance with spectacular views of the city and sunsets.
Spa/Fitness Center
The AVA Spa at the Four Seasons Prague features five treatment rooms, including a couple’s suite, spa bath, steam and sauna rooms, and a vitality pool with a variety of massage jets and the ultimate hydrotherapy in a relaxing European spa ambiance.
After eating all these delicious meals in Prague, you might want to work out at the fitness center which offers a variety of equipment, they even provide towels and water.
The hotel also offers a unique boat excursion where guest can ride in a traditional wooden boat that sits up to 12 peopleΒ and see the city of Prague from a whole new angle. Β The boat excursion isΒ 50-minutes long, and they provide you with a glass of prosecco.
There are so many different charming aspects of Prague: the castles, the cathedral, the old town square, the churches, the architecture and even the general ambianceΒ takesΒ you back to the ancient ages, but don’t forget to stop by the iconic John Lennon Wall. Β The hotel isΒ also perfect for family vacations, with attractions like the Prague Zoo, Museum of Toys, and paddle-boating around Ostrov Island just around the corner. Β I’m looking forward to returning to Prague soon, and staying at the Four Seasons.

Disclosure: A portion of our visitΒ was hosted by the Four Seasons Hotel Prague, but our opinions are based on the quality of service, comfort and amenities that we personally experienced.

October 1, 2016 at 6:33 amI love how this hotel provides the little touches, especially the adaptors. It really makes a difference in the hotel experience.

October 2, 2016 at 5:47 pmI agree, most of the time we either forget our adaptors or don’t have the right ones with us. It was really a nice touch on their part to provide the adapters to the guest.

October 1, 2016 at 6:58 amI like the color themes they have chosen. I am not sure if I would like to leave the hotel for sightseeing. π π
The statues of the girl and the boy under the umbrella is too cute. π

October 2, 2016 at 2:05 amAnother great hotel pick! Would love to stay at the Four Seasons in Prague. For me, the most consistently great of the major luxury hotel brands. Just opened in a new property in my old neighborhood in downtown NYC, which looks quite opulent as well.

October 2, 2016 at 5:51 pmI’ll have to check out the new property in NYC, next time we travel that way. π

October 2, 2016 at 2:51 amAnother beautiful location. Really love the inclusions of fresh food, adaptors and always love water. For some reason, our Australian hotels never give their guests water. Wonderful looking rooms and dining options too.

October 2, 2016 at 5:52 pmThe least a hotel can do for their guest is leave them a bottle of water in your hotel room daily.

October 3, 2016 at 10:30 amMy husband and I stayed at the Four Seasons in October 2014 as the end segment of a River cruise. We loved its location and service. Had to leave super early the morning of our departure and the staff was extremely helpful. By the way, Prague is an magical place!
