Enjoy The Tuck Room For Happy Hour in North Miami Beach, Florida

Looking for a vibrant night out with delicious drinks and eats? The Tuck Room in North Miami Beach has you covered. Cutting-edge mixology and a speakeasy décor make it the ideal spot to meet up with friends for a tasty bite, happy hour, and even a movie at the iPic, the cinema located within the restaurant.

Whatever your craving, the Tuck Room has perfected it. Drink selections include classic cocktails tailored to guest preferences, modern twists on traditional favorites, and shareable options for groups. Personally, I loved the Illegalito, a mojito described as the “lovechild of a passion fruit mojito and a fresh pina colada”.

What makes these drinks taste so good? The secret ingredient: freshly pressed sugar cane. In addition to unique flavor-combinations and a fully-stocked bar, the Tuck Room has a press specifically for squeezing shoots of sugar cane and using the extract for mixed drinks, which are chilled using liquid nitrogen.

Award-winning chef, Sherry Yard, is the brainchild behind the Tuck Room’s mouthwatering menu and small plates, as well as providing the dining options at the iPic. She is known for serving as a chef in several Wolfgang Puck restaurants, a judge on shows such as Top Chef and Cutthroat Kitchen, and the recipient of a multitude of awards, including the Silver Spoon Award for the Food Arts. I relished the crispy tempura green beans with suki hoisin sauce and The Avocado, a grilled and stuffed avocado filled with a sublimely creamy cotija cheese, shallot mousse, and finger lime pearls. As a vegetarian, I greatly appreciated the large selection available!

In true Miami fashion, the walls are decorated with notable artists such as Peter Tunney, whose art can also be seen at the iconic Wynwood Walls. One of my favorite pieces was the wall near the entrance showing painted figures and musicians on top of repurposed books designed by Mike Stilkey.

Looking to catch a film after happy hour? The iPic movie theatre is mere steps away. Designed for a more intimate viewing experience and luxurious reclining seats that come with pillows and blankets, the iPic movie experience is unlike any other. Guests can pick from premium or premium plus seats and enjoy in-cinema dining prepared by chef Sherry Yard who has designed a menu specifically for “dining in the dark”. “Ninja servers” bring food and drinks discretely throughout the movie. Tickets and food can both be conveniently preordered online through the iPic app!

Happy hour at the Tuck Room is from Monday to Friday, from 4-7 PM. Bring a date or some friends and enjoy a soiree of delicious drinks in a unique ambience!
