The Sonesta is special with it’s floor to ceiling glass views of the ocean and Fort Lauderdale beach. The only thing I don’t like about it is the pool is very small compared to the other hotels.

So many to choose from – I haven’t been to Fort Lauderdale but I’d struggle to pick if I came! Love the sound of the Sonesta though!

Hi Lyn, I’m the same way I can’t resist a good ocean view from my balcony room. Many of these hotels offer some incredible views from their rooms.

Oh my, Carmen, they all look so luxurious that it would be hard to choose. I guess the easiest way would be to check out every single one with a firsthand stay. 😉 Do you have a favorite?

We recently spent a day in through Fort Lauderdale. We took a water taxi around and had a blast looking at all the fabulous yachts and waterfront real estate. I guess that’s why the city has so many high-end hotels, huh?

Great luxury roundup, by the way. Thanks for sharing on #TheWeeklyPostcard.

      Hi Linda,

I have a few hotels that I absolutely love on the beach. I don’t really have a favorite because they are all wonderful properties. The water taxi is a great way to get around Fort Lauderdale and see some of the luxurious mansions along the way, plus you can stop at several of the restaurants on intracoastal waterway for lunch or dinner.
